Spotify Frequency Sunday Dinner Houston, TX

The third episode in Frequency’s Sunday dinner docu-series is a celebration of Black artists and music born in Texas.

Featuring legends Bun B of UGK and OG Ron C of Chopstars, along with Texas artists making waves today-Madeline Edwards, Teezo Touchdown, Monaleo, and Xavier Omär. They come together over a spread from Houston Black owned restaurants and discuss everything from the intersection of hip hop and gospel, to Texas music being the blueprint for many musical styles.

This film is an extension of Spotify’s Frequency platform in celebration of Black expression, and Ripple Effect-a playlist series that uplifts Black artists from a regional scope to amplify their cultural power value beyond their cities. Listen to it on Spotify.
