Event: E.N.D. x Fork & Tune “When We Were Free” Juneteenth Brunch 22’
When we were free took guests on a culinary trip to pre-colonial West and Central Africa to explore food staples that birthed American cuisine and soul food. It pays homage to a time before we were ripped apart from our families and stolen from our homeland; a time before we were force-fed scraps to survive; a time before our black chefs and pioneers were written out of history books; a time before America was built on the backs of our ancestors; a time when we were free.
In collaboration with Fork Tune, EatGood NYC, The Spice Suite and Soho House NYC, this brunch event included innovate hors d’oeuvres and cocktails, a wellness exhibition, live music and a host of special guests, celebrating Black Freedom at its highest level. A passport style menu, and boarding pass inspired cocktail menu were created, giving guest a truly immersive experience from start to finish.
Our Impact:
The event resulted in hundreds of thousands of social media views and shares, boosting brand awareness and helping Soho House expand its reach to people of color, who had not previously felt represented in their brand activations.
